About the Role

Almarai is seeking a dedicated Fire & Safety Officer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel, contractors, and visitors across all divisional site locations and accommodation facilities.

Key Responsibilities

The Fire & Safety Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe working environment. Key duties include:

• Reporting any identified unsafe or defective equipment, practices, acts, or omissions to functional management.
• Ensuring that immediate corrective actions are implemented to eliminate or minimize risks of loss.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role must meet the following criteria:

• Possession of a diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years of previous experience in fire management is essential.
• At least 3 years of experience working within a multi-cultural workforce organization, with specific experience in handling fire detection and suppression equipment.
• Previous experience as a trained firefighter, either with a civil Fire Brigade or as part of a large multinational company fire team.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience with electronic Fire Detection Systems and Sprinkler Systems.

Essential Skills

The successful candidate will possess strong communication abilities and technical knowledge:

• Good written and spoken English proficiency is required.
