About the Role

Golf Saudi is seeking a Fleet & Warehouse Manager to oversee its asset base and manage the physical movement and storage of equipment. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is central to defining equipment procurement and refresh cycles, ensuring efficient delivery to customers, inter-customer movement, and optimal storage throughout the asset lifecycle.

Strategic Role and Operational Context

The role involves comprehensive management of the fleet, which is handled in-house due to its technical complexity and system dependencies. Initially, warehousing operations will be lean, utilizing small regional facilities in areas like Riyadh for demo, swap, and backup units. The function is designed to scale towards centralized resale hubs as end-of-lease volumes increase. For the launch phase, Fleet Management and Warehousing & Logistics are combined, with potential for separation as fleet movement and resale inventory grow.

Fleet Management Responsibilities

• Define fleet strategy, specifications, and refresh cycles to ensure optimal size, mix, and specification aligned with the course pipeline, customer needs, and utilization targets.
• Manage relationships with OEMs and suppliers for the fleet, coordinating specification, selection, and delivery processes.
• Assess residual values, depreciation profiles, and total cost of ownership across the asset lifecycle to inform sourcing and refresh decisions, in coordination with Finance and Fleet Financing teams.
• Maintain accurate fleet records, utilization data, and asset registers to protect uptime and residual value of assets.

Warehousing and Logistics Operations

• Manage asset allocation, delivery, redeployment, and recovery across various customer sites.
• Operate the warehousing footprint on a demand-driven, minimal-inventory basis, starting with limited storage in initial operating areas (*, Riyadh) for demo, swap, and backup units, and scaling to regional service facilities and later, resale hubs.
• Coordinate the equipment logistics flow across OEM, distributor, customer site, and workshop, including new-fleet delivery, collections on failure, and returns.
• Coordinate end-of-lease offboarding, refurbishment preparation, and disposal or resale logistics with Maintenance and, in steady state, the Resales function.
• Manage a hybrid logistics model, involving internal handling in high-density course regions and external providers for distant regions and demand spikes.

Candidate Profile and Experience

Candidates for the Fleet & Warehouse Manager position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in fleet management, warehousing, and logistics. A strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, supply chain dynamics, and operational efficiency is essential for success in this role.
