About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Florist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves creating and maintaining floral arrangements for various areas within the property, ensuring high standards of presentation and guest satisfaction. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Trim, water, and prepare flowers for display in public areas, restaurant outlets, banquets, and guest rooms.
• Receive flowers from suppliers, including verifying correct quantities, refusing unacceptable conditions, and logging received items.
• Design and create custom floral arrangements.
• Deliver flowers and floral displays/arrangements to customers, property sites, or off-site locations.
• Follow up with customers or departments to ensure floral orders are delivered as requested.
• Coordinate the site set-up of floral displays and arrangements.
• Maintain the storeroom in a neat and clean condition at all times.
• Follow a checklist for cleaning the shop before closing.

Operational Standards and Safety

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including maintaining a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Guest and Team Interaction

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects.
• Ability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Capacity to move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

Additional Duties

The Florist will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors, contributing to the overall operational efficiency and aesthetic appeal of St. Regis Hotels & Resorts.
