About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia (ex-Souq) is seeking a Fulfillment Center Supervisor to join its Operations team in Riyadh. This full-time position offers an opportunity to oversee shift management within a dynamic fulfillment environment, contributing to the efficient delivery of customer orders.

Role Overview

As a Fulfillment Center Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a shift within a first-mile fulfillment center, middle-mile sortation center, or final-mile delivery station. This role is central to the operational pulse, ensuring customer orders are processed and dispatched effectively through each stage of the supply chain. The position is varied and presents daily challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain a safe working environment by identifying and addressing safety opportunities within your area of responsibility.
  • Manage and train Associates to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service.
  • Ensure customer orders are fulfilled in compliance with established quality and safety guidelines.
  • Communicate critical shift-related information to frontline management and operators.
  • Adjust labor allocation during shifts to meet and exceed operational plans and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with support functions and other departments to resolve common issues and address needs in key performance areas such as process readiness, 5S, safety, and training.
  • Contribute to solving logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation, and process optimization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk for shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently perform pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
  • Willingness to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
