About the Fulfillment Center Supervisor Role

Amazon Operations is seeking a Fulfillment Center Supervisor to oversee shift management within its fulfillment centers, sortation centers, or delivery stations. This role is integral to the operational flow, ensuring customer orders are processed and dispatched efficiently through every stage of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe working environment by identifying and addressing safety opportunities within the designated work area.
• Manage and train Associates to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service.
• Uphold quality and safety standards in the fulfillment of customer orders.
• Communicate critical shift-related information to frontline management and operators.
• Adjust labor allocation during shifts to meet or exceed operational plans and forecasts.
• Collaborate with support functions and other departments to resolve common issues and address needs in key performance areas such as process readiness, 5S, safety, and training.
• Contribute to solving logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation, and process optimization.

Basic Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk for shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently perform tasks such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
