About Kafaa Capital and the Role

Kafaa Capital (كفاءة المالية) is a licensed investment platform regulated by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) in Saudi Arabia, specializing in sukuk-based investment products. Headquartered in Riyadh, the company is focused on building the next generation of digital investment infrastructure. Kafaa Capital is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join its core engineering team and contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and user-friendly products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack features across mobile, web, and backend systems.
  • Build and maintain backend services utilizing FastAPI and .NET frameworks.
  • Develop mobile and web user experiences using Flutter.
  • Design and implement APIs, database models, background jobs, and integration workflows.
  • Integrate with financial infrastructure providers, Open Banking APIs, and various third-party services.
  • Work with PostgreSQL and other data storage systems to ensure reliable financial operations.
  • Support authentication, authorization, secure data handling, and overall system reliability.
  • Assist with DevOps-related tasks, including Docker, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and Firebase tools.

Required Qualifications

  • 0-1 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or in a similar development role.
  • Strong backend development experience with FastAPI (Python) and .NET.
  • Hands-on experience building mobile or web applications using Flutter.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Experience with Docker and fundamental DevOps workflows.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, authentication, authorization, and core software engineering principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with financial systems, fintech products, or regulated investment platforms.
  • Knowledge of Open Banking integrations and secure API protocols (*, OAuth2, JWT, MTLS).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and observability practices.
