About the Role

Urban Ridge Supplies is seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager (Logistics & Supply Chain) to lead its operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a Full-Time leadership position responsible for the comprehensive management of the company's supply chain and logistics functions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, developing long-term strategic plans, and guiding a team to achieve key business objectives, ensuring the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience of the supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities

The General Manager will be accountable for:

• Developing and implementing the overarching logistics and supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
• Directing and managing all end-to-end logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and distribution.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the logistics team to foster a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.
• Overseeing departmental budgets, managing operational costs, and identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and profitability enhancement.
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
• Analyzing performance metrics and data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements across the supply chain.
• Ensuring all operations comply with relevant local and international trade laws, customs regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Collaborating with senior management and other departments to ensure integrated operational workflows.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess:

• A proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a relevant discipline. A Master’s degree or professional certification (*, CILT, CIPS) is highly advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain principles, including demand planning, inventory control, and transport management.
• Strong financial acumen, with demonstrable experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience working within the Saudi Arabian or wider GCC market is strongly preferred.
