About the Role

Atmaal is seeking a Generative AI Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to designing, building, and maintaining robust infrastructure for AI-enabled services. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in relevant fields, focusing on ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of containerized environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain production OKE clusters, including node pools, autoscaling, network policies, and RBAC.
• Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and fault-tolerant design to ensure high availability and low latency for AI-enabled services.
• Implement routine health-checks, node-drain procedures, and disaster-recovery drills.
• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end build-test-deploy pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Argo CD.
• Integrate static code analysis, container image scanning (*, Trivy), automated unit/integration tests, and artifact promotion stages into CI/CD pipelines.
• Enforce code-quality gates and version-controlled releases for all AI platform components.
• Coordinate functional, performance, and bias testing scripts for AI models.
• Approve model-sign-off packages before deployment to staging environments.
• Trigger CI/CD releases for models, verify successful rollouts, and confirm rollback procedures are in place.
• Maintain real-time monitoring dashboards, review daily/weekly drift reports, and initiate retraining tickets when performance thresholds are breached.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven track record in designing, building, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure containerized environments.
