Job Description

About the Role

Reef Group is seeking a Governance Specialist to join the CEO Office in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on supporting and enhancing the organization's governance frameworks, compliance oversight, and operational excellence initiatives. The role is integral to strengthening governance practices, improving operational efficiency, and supporting executive decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), delegation of authority matrices (DOA), and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure governance documents align with the organizational structure and executive strategy.
  • Monitor compliance with approved policies and governance standards across all departments.
  • Identify governance gaps and support the strengthening of internal controls and operational compliance.
  • Analyze operational processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and governance effectiveness.
  • Support automation and digital governance initiatives utilizing systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, ClickUp, and Power BI.
  • Prepare executive-level reports covering compliance status, governance risks, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and operational performance.
  • Support executive and operational committees by tracking decisions and follow-up actions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in governance, compliance, internal control, operations, or management consulting.
  • Experience in retail, multi-entity organizations, or fast-paced operational environments is preferred.
  • Exposure to ERP systems and governance frameworks is considered an advantage.

Required Skills

  • Strong ability to develop policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of internal control, risk management, compliance, and segregation of duties (SoD).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze workflows and translate them into governance improvements.
  • Experience with digital workflow and reporting tools is a plus.
