The Role of Hardware and Network Technician

As a Hardware and Network Technician at Mufeed, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our IT systems, networks, and hardware. This full-time position in Riyadh requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background to ensure the stability and security of our operational technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, permissions, and device policies.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks and connected devices.
• Configure and maintain FortiGate firewall rules, access controls, and security policies.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain software applications across company devices.
• Set up and administer SaaS applications, including access controls, security settings, and user support.
• Administer email systems, user accounts, security policies, and resolve email-related issues.
• Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems.
• Monitor and maintain system updates, patches, antivirus protection, and endpoint security.
• Perform and monitor system backups, and restore systems when required.
• Handle IT support tickets, troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues, and document resolutions.
• Manage IT assets by registering, assigning, tracking, and updating asset records.
• Prepare IT devices, accounts, applications, licenses, and access for new employees.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, installations, and changes.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV systems, including Hik-Connect cameras and related devices.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a Hardware and Network Technician or in a similar IT support role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the administration and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems as outlined in the responsibilities.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in our Riyadh office. The role requires on-site presence to manage and support the company's IT infrastructure effectively.
