About the Role
The Head of Automotive Marketplace Platform at Link x Talent is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for leading the growth, commercialization, and operational performance of the automotive marketplace business. The Head will drive revenue, customer acquisition, dealer partnerships, product innovation, and digital transformation initiatives, with a focus on scaling the platform, expanding monetization channels, and delivering a seamless online vehicle buying and selling experience across the Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the automotive marketplace business, aligning commercial objectives with long-term growth plans.
- Lead end-to-end marketplace operations, including vehicle listings, dealer onboarding, lead generation, direct vehicle sales, auctions, inspections, financing solutions, and customer experience.
- Drive business growth through marketplace expansion, revenue optimization, and the development of new monetization streams.
- Develop and implement marketplace growth strategies to increase vehicle inventory, dealer participation, customer acquisition, and transaction volumes.
- Lead cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Experience, and Business Development to ensure successful execution of business priorities.
- Oversee digital transformation initiatives, enhancing platform capabilities, automation, and customer journey optimization.
- Establish commercial frameworks, KPIs, and performance management processes to drive marketplace efficiency and profitability.
- Identify market trends, competitive opportunities, and emerging technologies to strengthen market positioning and customer engagement.
- Manage P&L responsibility, budgeting, forecasting, revenue planning, and operational performance.
- Drive strategic auction operators to enhance marketplace offerings.
- Ensure governance, compliance, and operational excellence across all marketplace activities.
- Present business performance, growth opportunities, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Expected Outcomes
- Scale marketplace transaction volumes and revenue growth.
- Increase customer acquisition metrics.
- Launch and optimize value-added services, including financing, inspections, warranties, and digital auctions.
- Drive profitable growth while maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in automotive, online marketplaces, classified platforms, e-commerce, or digital businesses.
- Demonstrated success in scaling digital businesses, marketplace ecosystems, and revenue-generating platforms.
- Experience managing large cross-functional teams and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in strategic planning, business development, marketplace operations, and revenue growth.
