About the Role

Atrium Project Management - APM | Talaat Moustafa Group TMG is seeking a dedicated HSE Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for a professional with 0-1 years of experience who possesses a strong personality and the ability to effectively manage and control manpower on project sites. The role focuses on ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations and proactively minimizing the risk of violations or accidents.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to implement all necessary measures to prevent incidents on site. This involves overseeing and ensuring that HSE programs and procedures are correctly applied by all entities working within the project. A key objective is to increase HSE awareness and foster a culture where health, safety, and environment are recognized as the first priority for maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety and environmental plans for all project phases, aligning with local, regional, and international standards.
• Identify safety and environmental hazards and assess risk levels specific to the construction project.
• Oversee overall compliance with established safety regulations and procedures.
• Ensure all safety equipment is regularly inspected and properly maintained.
• Research relevant regulations, industry best practices, and advancements in safety and environmental technology.
• Participate in safety and environmental audits conducted on the construction site.
• Document and maintain comprehensive records of all safety and environmental activities.
• Monitor the health, safety, and environmental procedures implemented by subcontractors.
• Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, recommending corrective actions.
• Cooperate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, clients, and insurance companies.
• Monitor, assess, and recommend improvements to the safety and health performance of construction projects.
• Inspect work sites to proactively identify and address potential safety hazards.
• Coordinate with other safety and health professionals to ensure safe and healthy work environments.
• Prepare detailed reports on safety and health performance.
• Maintain accurate records of safety and health inspections.
• Stay informed about new safety and health regulations and best practices.
• Perform any other assigned tasks within the scope of job duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of relevant experience in a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) role.
• Demonstrated strong personality and effective communication skills.
• Sufficient experience in managing and controlling manpower and labor at project sites.
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
