Information Technology Specialist

About the Role

Advanced Aircraft Technology (AAT) is seeking a qualified IT Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is open to Saudi nationals and requires 2-5 years of professional experience in Information Technology. The role focuses on providing comprehensive technical support and managing IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues.
• Manage and maintain computers, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Install and configure operating systems, software, and applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels to systems.
• Support and manage IT networks, communications, and IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system and network performance, and troubleshoot technical issues and failures.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
• Manage and monitor IT assets, hardware, and software, including software licenses and subscriptions.
• Coordinate with service providers and vendors to resolve technical issues and deliver required services.
• Perform data backups and follow business continuity procedures in accordance with company policies.
• Implement and monitor information security policies and procedures.
• Prepare and update IT documentation, procedures, and records, including technical and periodic reports.
• Follow up on technical support requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Support IT system and network development and upgrade projects.
• Comply with information security and data protection policies and procedures.
• Perform other IT-related duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be a Saudi national.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in Information Technology.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting hardware, software, and system issues.
• Experience with operating systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Odoo and SAP.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Good knowledge of user account, permissions, and access management.
