About the Role

Trivers is seeking an Information Technology Support Officer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is accountable for providing expert technical support to internal users, acting as a liaison between business departments and the IT team, and ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of servers and IT infrastructure. The role also involves supporting the implementation of cybersecurity and IT best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support for users across various locations, including onsite, remotely, and at outside sites.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, related peripherals, and Grandstream PBX systems.
• Troubleshoot network issues, including internet connectivity, server access, and VPN.
• Support the implementation and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and best practices.
• Manage user accounts across various systems, such as Active Directory and email platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system issues efficiently.
• Install and update software, ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Log and document all support requests, actions taken, and resolution details.
• Manage and monitor company servers to ensure availability, performance, data backup, and security compliance.
• Report on issues, progress, and updates directly to the IT Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in an IT support or related technical role.
• Foundational understanding of IT systems, network principles, and user support methodologies.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in installing and maintaining computer hardware, printers, and peripherals.
• Experience with Grandstream PBX systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues, including VPN and server connectivity.
• Familiarity with user account management in Active Directory and email platforms.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and software installation with security compliance.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh. The role requires collaboration with various business departments and the IT team to maintain a robust and secure IT environment, providing support across onsite, remote, and external locations.
