Internal Audit Supervisor / Manager

About the Role

Alkhorayef Group is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Supervisor / Manager to join the Shared Services Internal Audit function of a group company. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves leading and supervising financial, operational, and compliance audits across various group entities.

Role Context and Focus

The role provides significant exposure to internal controls, risk management, and business processes. A primary focus of this position will be on supply chain and finance audits, ensuring adherence to internal audit standards and identifying areas for improvement within the group's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise financial, operational, and compliance audits across group companies.
• Plan and execute audits, with a specific focus on supply chain and finance audit areas.
• Review audit fieldwork, working papers, and documentation prepared by the audit team.
• Identify control weaknesses and risks, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
• Draft and finalize audit reports, and discuss observations with management.
• Follow up on audit findings and management action plans to ensure resolution.
• Utilize audit management and analytical tools to support audit execution and reporting.
• Ensure all audit documentation complies with established internal audit standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in internal audit.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and supervising audit engagements.
• Strong understanding of financial, operational, and compliance audit principles.
• Proficiency in identifying control weaknesses, assessing risks, and recommending improvements.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Shared Services Internal Audit function of Alkhorayef Group. The role requires a professional who can work effectively within a team and manage audit processes across diverse group entities.
