Inventory Officer

About the Role

Floward is seeking an Inventory Officer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for maintaining accurate stock records and supporting efficient warehouse and inventory operations within Floward's supply chain. The Inventory Officer will contribute to preventing stock discrepancies and ensuring the availability of fast-moving products.

Key Responsibilities

The Inventory Officer will be responsible for a range of tasks focused on inventory control, warehouse coordination, reporting, and compliance.

• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, product codes, and system entries.
• Support the reconciliation of work orders to ensure the accuracy of materials and products.
• Track inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstock or stock-outs.
• Escalate discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Assist in receiving incoming items, verifying quantities and quality against purchase requests.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse staff for timely and accurate processing.
• Check date-sensitive products for expiration and assist in their removal or transfer as required.
• Report any damages or losses to the supervisor for corrective action.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly stock balance and stagnancy reports.
• Assist in generating inventory reports for management review.
• Track basic operational KPIs, including stock accuracy, returns, and defective items.
• Follow standard inventory and warehouse procedures to maintain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health guidelines.
• Assist in filing claims for defective or returned products when required.
• Provide support to cross-functional teams, including Category, Sales, and Procurement, regarding product availability and timely order fulfillment.
