About the Role
State Street Investment Management (SSIM) is seeking an experienced Investment Solutions Portfolio Management, Vice President to join the Investment Solutions Group (ISG) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is key to expanding SSIM's strategic presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the MENA region, with a focus on OCIO and Model Portfolio offerings. As a member of the ISG, you will provide investment advisory services, supporting the multi-asset class business by developing comprehensive investment strategies for institutional and intermediary clients.
Reporting to the Managing Director, Head of OCIO Investment Strategy – Investment Solutions Group, the ideal candidate will have a proven history of delivering investment advice and solutions within a multi-asset framework. This experience should be gained from an institutional asset manager, OCIO, investment consultancy, wealth advisor, or asset owner. You will collaborate with Manager Research and Portfolio Management teams, serving as a subject matter expert to support new business initiatives alongside the business development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients and prospects, developing their overall asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk framework, and governance structure.
- Develop client-specific Investment Policy Statements for multi-asset mandates.
- Collaborate with the ISG team, including Manager Research, for manager recommendations and oversight across public and private markets.
- Liaise with the portfolio management team responsible for client portfolio trading.
- Interface with institutional and intermediary organizations.
- Partner with client relationship managers in a client-facing capacity.
- Regularly engage with client investment committees, boards, and staff.
- Contribute to investment portfolio and performance reviews.
- Support and drive new business activity as a subject matter expert in collaboration with the business development team.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 7-10 years of industry experience.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering holistic investment advice and solutions in a multi-asset framework, with experience from an institutional asset manager, OCIO, investment consultancy, wealth advisor, or asset owner.
- Familiarity with the needs of various asset owners, official institutions, sovereign wealth funds, endowments & foundations, pensions, financial institutions, and wealth advisors in the region.
- Experience in setting investment strategy to meet risk/return objectives, liabilities or spending requirements, and client-specific return objectives in an advisory/consultative capacity.
- Local insights on asset owner governance and regulatory considerations, including Shari'ah compliance.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest fiduciary standards and ensuring compliance with all internal and external requirements.

Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Preferred qualifications include CFA/CAIA.
