Job Description

About Tahaluf and the Role

Tahaluf, the largest B2B live and on-demand events organiser in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an Investor Program Manager to join its team in Riyadh. As a joint venture between Informa PLC, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP), and the Events Investment Fund (EIF), Tahaluf delivers significant events such as LEAP, Cityscape, Black Hat MEA, and CPHI Middle East. This full-time role focuses on developing and managing investor programs, particularly within the gaming sector, while also supporting broader investor and startup initiatives across Tahaluf’s portfolio of events.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Investor Program Manager brings specialized expertise in gaming investment and deal-making to Tahaluf’s Investor and Startup Programme infrastructure. The primary objective is to design investment programs and deal-making activations that position the Gaming event as a leading investment event in the global gaming calendar. The role also involves supporting investor programming at other events, leveraging sector knowledge and investor relationships to add value. This position requires providing sector depth, engaging with the gaming and tech investment community, and enhancing the investor experience across all assigned events.

Gaming Investment Program Responsibilities

  • Design investment programs and deal-making formats for gaming conferences to attract international investors, publishers, and funds, setting a global standard for capital-meets-talent events.
  • Build and manage the gaming investor pipeline, including identifying gaming VCs, publisher venture arms, sovereign funds with gaming mandates, angel networks, and accelerator programmes, and conducting targeted outreach.
  • Oversee the investor application and vetting process, verifying fund credentials, investment thesis alignment, and genuine intent to engage with gaming studios and founders.
  • Develop content and format for all gaming investment activations, such as reverse pitches, hosted buyer programmes, closed-door investor roundtables, and live deal-making showcases.
  • Collaborate with the B2B Content Producer to ensure the investment content track is credible, current, and attracts appropriate participants.
  • Design the end-to-end investor experience, including investor lounges, curated sessions, concierge meetings, and investor-only programming.
  • Manage the investor-side matchmaking process, working with internal teams to ensure high match quality and deal relevance.
  • Handle investor delegate communications, matchmaking logistics, and on-site facilitation to ensure the program delivers tangible outcomes.
  • Track and report on investment program outcomes, including deals initiated, capital committed, and follow-up meetings generated.

Cross-Portfolio Investor Support

  • Support investor programs across other Investor & Startup portfolio events by contributing investor relationships, outreach, and programming input where sector knowledge is valuable.
  • Contribute to investor outreach campaigns across portfolio events in collaboration with marketing and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide investor program coverage for senior team members during peak pre-event and on-ground periods.
  • Curate a balanced, high-quality investor room for each assigned event, aligning with its sector focus and strategic objectives.
  • Program investor-focused roundtables, LP introductions, and deal-flow sessions in collaboration with the special value programmes team.
  • Maintain accurate and current investor records in internal management tools, covering fund details, investment thesis, meeting history, and post-event feedback.
  • Track investor program KPIs across assigned events, including investor count, AUM represented, meetings held, investment signals generated, and investor NPS.
  • Conduct post-event investor debriefs, gather feedback, and provide improvement recommendations to the program lead.
  • Maintain and nurture year-round investor relationships to ensure continuity for future editions.
  • Develop new concepts for value-driven investor program features and lead concept note development for future editions.

Candidate Profile and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience and demonstrate deep expertise in gaming investment and deal-making. A thorough understanding of funding rounds, publishing deals, and M&A transactions within the gaming industry is essential. Candidates must be familiar with key regional investors, funds, and studios, particularly across Saudi Arabia and MENA. The role requires comfort in investor conversations with fund managers, portfolio directors, and publishing executives. The ability to design investor programs from the ground up, attracting international capital and elevating gaming investment activations, is critical. The candidate should also be capable of integrating into broader Investor and Startup programs, contributing immediate value through established relationships and sector credibility.
