Junior Accountant

About the Role

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience and involves performing general accounting duties to support the finance and accounting department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization.

Role Overview

The Junior Accountant is responsible for executing core accounting functions, including journal entries and inventory counts, while adhering to established accounting control procedures. This position plays a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and record all journal entries, including invoices, payment vouchers, journal vouchers, and purchasing records, in accordance with local accounting standards and regional policies and procedures.
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements as per regional policies and procedures.
• Periodically reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, sub-ledger accounts, accruals accounts, and the fixed assets schedule.
• Examine the correctness and compliance of coupons and expenses paid.
• Handle payment preparation processes and associated documentation.
• Manage, organize, and update relevant data on Rentokil Boecker Systems.
• Maintain data integrity across all Rentokil Boecker systems, forms, and reports.
• Prepare the daily bank deposit report.
• Process purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Execute physical inventory counts for Operations, Food Safety, and Marketing stocks, and prepare inventory discrepancy reports.
• Maintain proper follow-up on stock levels and inventory management.
• Handle a proper physical and electronic archiving system.
