The Role of Lead Cost Manager

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Lead Cost Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for supporting a strong pipeline of upcoming projects in the region. The role requires professionals with demonstrated experience in both infrastructure and real estate sectors to contribute to the KSA team's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties, including cost estimates, procurement, tendering, contract administration, variation, and final accounts.
• Complete feasibility studies and prepare procurement reports.
• Conduct estimating and cost planning, including the production and presentation of final cost plans.
• Oversee tendering and procurement processes, encompassing pre-qualification, tender list generation, preliminaries compilation, tender analysis, tender report production, and contractual document assembly.
• Effectively manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes, escalating major changes to the line manager as required.
• Take personal responsibility for conducting cost checks and valuations on larger projects, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Produce and present monthly post-contract cost reports to clients.
• Negotiate and agree upon final accounts.
• Interface with clients and other consultants throughout all project stages.
• Lead a cost management team where appropriate, ensuring the delivery of all specified accountabilities.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in both infrastructure and real estate projects.
• Experience working in the Middle East region is preferable.

Work Location

This full-time position is based in the Middle Oraija District, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
