Lighting and AV Engineer

About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Lighting and AV Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining advanced lighting and audio-visual systems for various corporate events, venues, and facilities. The role requires collaboration with clients, production teams, and vendors to ensure seamless technical experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement lighting and AV system solutions tailored to client specifications and venue requirements.
• Install, configure, and test lighting fixtures, projectors, screens, audio systems, and related equipment.
• Operate and manage lighting consoles, audio mixers, and control systems during events and productions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform preventive maintenance on all AV and lighting equipment.
• Collaborate with event planners, production managers, and other stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Create technical drawings and system designs using CAD and specialized AV design software.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations, electrical codes, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and equipment suppliers to source components and manage inventory.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members during setup and execution.
• Document system configurations, equipment specifications, and maintenance records for future reference.
• Stay current with emerging lighting and AV technologies and industry best practices.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in lighting and audio-visual engineering. This experience should include practical application in design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of sophisticated systems.

Work Environment and Location

This position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time role. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
