About the Role

UNIMAC - United Maintenance and Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead comprehensive logistics, warehouse, inventory, hub operations, project distribution, and regulatory compliance. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and supports multiple projects across Qiddiya. The Logistics Manager will own the end-to-end logistics control environment, from material receipt and storage through SAP transaction closure, project distribution, site delivery, returns, and inventory reconciliation. This highly operational position requires strong control discipline, SAP knowledge, and Saudi regulatory experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the operations of UNIMAC's logistics hub, including warehouses, laydown areas, PMV garages, batching plants, precast yards, weighbridge operations, and third-party allocated areas.
  • Establish and enforce appropriate storage, preservation, segregation, FIFO, and shelf-life controls, ensuring inventory accuracy across the hub and all Qiddiya project stores.
  • Lead cycle counts, annual stock takes, SAP reconciliation, and variance investigations, maintaining visibility of stock across all locations.
  • Ensure complete physical and SAP closure of procurement cycles, from PO receipt through project consumption, managing GRNs, reservations, goods issues, and stock transfers.
  • Plan and coordinate material distribution from the logistics hub to Qiddiya project sites, consolidating project requirements, prioritizing demand, and scheduling deliveries.
  • Manage project demobilization, including the recovery of stock, equipment, and logistics assets.
  • Issue daily logistics reports to PMO and Finance covering receipts, issues, stock movements, plant production, dispatches, and exceptions.

Hub Operations and Control

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the logistics hub as one controlled facility, managing all entry and exit activities, including gate passes, material passes, and vehicle movements.
  • Operate and control weighbridge activities, including ticketing, reconciliation, calibration, and certification.
  • Oversee physical security, CCTV, fencing, lighting, access control, guarding, and incident investigations within the hub.
  • Manage the logistics operating budget covering manpower, security, handling equipment, facilities, and hub operations.
  • Monitor warehouse and yard utilization, optimizing available space and improving transport efficiency.
  • Manage third-party and subcontractor areas through formal agreements, defined boundaries, and compliance controls.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 8โ€“12 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse, materials management, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong experience within GCC construction, infrastructure, engineering, or heavy industry.
  • Proven experience managing a central logistics hub or large facility supporting multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with Saudi authority permits, licenses, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience coordinating logistics with major clients and project organizations.
  • Giga-project experience in Saudi Arabia is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP MM or equivalent ERP inventory systems.
  • Experience with goods receipt, goods issue, reservations, stock transfers, physical inventory, and GR/IR reconciliation.
  • Experience with weighbridge and gate management systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse management, transport coordination, and project logistics.

Stakeholder Management and Compliance

  • Own the complete permit, license, registration, and certification framework for logistics operations, maintaining a central permit register with expiry dates and renewal timelines.
  • Ensure all permits and certifications remain valid without interruption and coordinate authority inspections.
  • Act as the primary logistics interface with relevant Saudi government authorities and regulators.
  • Coordinate with Qiddiya client organizations on access, security, delivery windows, routes, and site logistics requirements.
  • Maintain strong coordination with Projects, Procurement, PMV, Transport, Plant, Finance, QA/QC, HSEQ, and Government Relations.
