We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer Staff level for our Datacentre AI Engineering team in a full-time capacity in Riyadh.

Role Overview

The Staff-level ML Applications Engineer will operate with a high degree of autonomy, defining technical goals and scope for assigned problem areas. This role involves leading development efforts from conception through execution, requiring extensive hands-on experience in C++/Python-based AI development within a Linux environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, foster effective cross-team collaboration, and mentor other engineers through practical example, maintaining a hands-on, execution-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and optimize key Deep Learning models on Qualcomm AI 100.
• Build deep learning framework extensions for Qualcomm AI 100 in upstream open-source repositories.
• Collaborate with internal teams to analyze and optimize training and inference for deep learning.
• Develop software tools and an ecosystem around the AI SW Stack.
• Work on Triton, ExecuTorch, Inductor, and TorchDynamo to build abstraction layers for inference accelerators.
• Optimize workloads for both scale-up (multi-SoC) and scale-out (multi-card) systems.
• Optimize the entire deep learning pipeline, including graph compiler integration.
• Apply knowledge of software engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of professional experience in a relevant engineering role, specifically in AI development.
• Extensive hands-on experience in C++/Python-based AI development within a Linux environment.
• Demonstrated ability to define technical goals, scope problem areas, and lead development efforts from conception through execution.
• Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience mentoring and guiding other engineers through practical example.
• Proficiency with Deep Learning models, frameworks, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with open-source contributions and building software ecosystems around AI stacks.
• Knowledge of inference accelerators and related technologies such as Triton, ExecuTorch, Inductor, and TorchDynamo.
• Understanding of workload optimization for multi-SoC and multi-card systems, and deep learning pipeline optimization including graph compiler integration.
• Adherence to software engineering best practices.

Compensation Structure

The compensation package for this full-time position includes a competitive salary, housing and transport allowances, Stock (RSU's), and a performance-related bonus.
