About the Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch is seeking a Maintenance Engineer / Facilities Supervisor Reliability Maintenance Engineering to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring adherence to safety regulations and policies, timely and high-standard preventative maintenance, and achieving high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize health and safety best practices in all work, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for FC assets, including material handling and automation systems.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various systems such as relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors & scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, electronic sensors, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters, and mechanical components (rolls, bearings, belts).
  • Promote safe working practices across the site and act as a safety ambassador within the team.
  • Manage daily engineering and soft services, including housekeeping and premises upkeep.
  • Manage Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and statutory compliance for the FC, including waste management and hazardous waste management as per bylaws, and timely renewal of licenses.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Provide constructive feedback to enhance individual performance.
  • Prioritize and manage resources effectively under pressure.
  • Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including conveyor system maintenance, and supervise maintenance work and subcontractors.
  • Ensure the implementation of facility systems checks through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Provide technical guidance for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Building & Building (BB) maintenance.
  • Support technicians through motivation, knowledge sharing, and hands-on experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, or Instrumentation and Controls.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for planning proactive maintenance and recording reactive tasks.

Work Environment

This role involves working a non-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights and weekends, to support continuous operations.
