About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Manager - Data Modeling to oversee the design and implementation of comprehensive data models. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province.

Role Overview

The Manager - Data Modeling will be responsible for integrating and centralizing all information managed by the CDU team. This includes cost data from Prism, time data from Primavera P6, risk data from Arm, metadata from Aconex, and various spreadsheets and databases implemented by Qiddiya. The role involves enhancing an existing PowerBI data model to improve its capabilities, accessibility, and analytical scope for the Qiddiya development division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the data model strategy to encompass all development analysis and reporting requirements.
  • Provide clear requirements to data owners regarding data tagging for model incorporation.
  • Manage the data modeling team, including an AI modeling expert, an LLM modeling expert, and a database technician, assigning tasks to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Advise the Data Modeling and Performance & Analytics Director on best practices and potential solution enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Data Office to ensure proper governance of all data and reports.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a degree in information services and/or data analytics, along with established experience working as part of an owner’s team on solutions for large and complex organizations. Key areas of experience include:

  • Systems Development: Implementation of software solutions, integration of existing software packages, and development of workflow and automated processes for data capturing.
  • Intra-organization Stakeholder Experience: Effective liaison with individuals across various experience and authority levels, and the ability to communicate technical solutions and their problem-solving capabilities.
  • Team Support and Development: Assessment of individual and team performance for efficiency optimization, and support for individuals with diverse technical experience to foster growth.
  • Effective Delivery within Large Organizational Structures: Working within established structures to deliver outcomes and managing messaging to ensure service trust.
  • Team Collaboration: Working effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members. Collaboration with adjacent teams and external partners is also essential.

Preferred Background and Skills

Preferred candidates will demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, fluency in Microsoft Office, and a high ability to work both individually and collaboratively. The capacity to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and a strong drive for independent learning are also valued.
