About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Manager - Design Governance to join the Design Excellence (DEx) department within CDU. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. The Manager - Design Governance will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining design governance frameworks to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all Qiddiya (QIC) projects.

Role Context and Purpose

The Design Governance function acts as a custodian of design principles, ensuring that all designs align with QIC objectives and its unique identity. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and counterparts in various Business Units to monitor and ensure adherence to established governance processes. This role also contributes to the continuous improvement of the Department and design practices by providing feedback on adoption issues to other DEx verticals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QIC-wide processes for reviewing and monitoring projects’ adherence to Board-approved CGIs and imagery, including concept and interior designs.
• Create, update, and maintain a centralized repository of dated Board-approved CGIs for reference and compliance tracking.
• Conduct systematic audits and coordinate with Design Excellence (DEx) teams across business units to ensure compliance with approved designs and identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with design, project management, and other governance teams to embed design standards and resolve compliance issues.
• Prepare reports on compliance status, audit findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement in design governance.
• Define clear workflows for design governance reviews, approvals, and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate with Design Excellence (DEx) teams across business units to identify discrepancies and enforce corrective actions.
• Develop compliance dashboards and reporting mechanisms for leadership visibility.
• Utilize advanced digital tools (*, Excel, Power BI) to analyze datasets and create visual dashboards that support informed, data-driven decision-making.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in project coordination, document preparation, and analytical tasks, contributing to the professional development of the team.
