About the Role
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Manager - Distribution to oversee and optimize its multi-channel distribution ecosystem. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. The role is responsible for the operational and commercial performance of all B2B and B2C booking channels, ensuring broad accessibility and competitive positioning for Qiddiya’s tourism and destination products across target markets.
Key Responsibilities
The Manager - Distribution will lead the development and execution of distribution strategies across various platforms including Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), travel trade networks, corporate travel channels, and direct booking platforms. This includes managing channel partnerships, optimizing pricing and inventory, and collaborating with internal teams such as Partnerships, Marketing, Technology, Finance, and Operations to maximize revenue and customer reach. The role also involves managing and mentoring the Distribution team.
- Develop and implement B2B and B2C distribution strategies to support commercial objectives.
- Define and manage channel prioritization for optimal inventory, rate parity, visibility, and revenue.
- Develop channel mix strategies balancing direct and indirect channels for profitability and market reach.
- Manage the OTA portfolio, including onboarding, contract negotiation, content optimization, and performance improvement.
- Oversee GDS connectivity to ensure accurate representation and bookability of tourism inventory.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management, Finance, and Marketing on pricing, promotions, and yield optimization.
- Monitor booking trends, demand, conversion, cancellations, and competitor activity to recommend adjustments.
- Develop and maintain distribution performance dashboards and reporting frameworks.
- Lead the onboarding and management of travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs, and MICE operators.
- Oversee the enhancement and management of trade distribution platforms and partner portals.
- Coordinate partner training programs, FAM trips, and engagement initiatives.
- Own and manage the distribution technology ecosystem, including CMS, CRS, and booking platforms.
- Collaborate with Technology teams to improve platform integrations and booking experiences.
- Prepare and present distribution performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for distribution processes and commercial outcomes.
- Manage, mentor, and develop team members within the Distribution function.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in distribution, revenue management, channel management, or commercial operations within the tourism, hospitality, travel technology, or destination management sectors is required. Proven experience managing OTA platforms, GDS connectivity, and trade distribution channels at a destination or tourism organization level is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in distribution, revenue management, or channel management.
- Experience managing OTA platforms, GDS connectivity, and trade distribution channels.
- Strong understanding of channel management systems, central reservation systems, and revenue optimization practices.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing trade distribution relationships.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and team management experience.
- Proficiency in distribution systems, CRM platforms, and data analytics tools (*, Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of the GCC and Saudi Arabia tourism distribution landscape is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Required Skills and Competencies
The role demands a strong understanding of revenue optimization practices and dynamic pricing strategies. Candidates must possess excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions. Demonstrated leadership capability and experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives are crucial. Proficiency in distribution systems, CRM platforms, reporting tools, and data analytics platforms, including Excel and Power BI, is required. While English communication skills are essential, Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, within the Riyadh Province. The role requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities, and involves close collaboration with various internal departments.
