About the Role

Big Fish Consult is seeking a dedicated Manager Instructor for its Culinary Academy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to delivering high-quality culinary education, encompassing the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive culinary programs, courses, and workshops. The Manager Instructor ensures all training aligns with international culinary standards, supports curriculum evolution, maintains accreditation requirements, and contributes significantly to the operational success of the Academy. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities: Training and Instruction

  • Deliver theoretical and practical culinary training programs, courses, workshops, and demonstrations.
  • Prepare and conduct lectures, practical sessions, assessments, and examinations.
  • Support specialized training programs tailored for hospitality, aviation, lounge operations, and other business requirements.
  • Deliver induction sessions and presentations as needed.
  • Provide verbal and written translation support when applicable.

Curriculum Development and Program Enhancement

The Manager Instructor will be responsible for the continuous development and refinement of educational content, ensuring relevance and quality.

  • Develop, review, and maintain training curricula, course syllabi, and lesson plans.
  • Create and update training modules, teaching materials, and recipes.
  • Design and implement assessments and examinations.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of all training programs.

Academy Operations and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and academic requirements.
  • Assist with administrative, operational, and reporting activities.
  • Support program logistics and scheduling.
  • Assist with budget planning and reconciliation as required.
  • Develop and maintain departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain accurate records of training participants, assessments, certifications, and performance evaluations.
  • Prepare training reports and program evaluation summaries.

Facilities Management and Information Security

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchens, classrooms, hospitality areas, and workstations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, operational, and organizational policies.
  • Protect confidential information and maintain accurate records.
  • Comply with cybersecurity policies, information security requirements, and acceptable use standards.
  • Report cybersecurity incidents and adhere to all information protection procedures.

General Responsibilities and Experience

In addition to the core duties, the Manager Instructor will undertake various assigned tasks to support the Academy's objectives. A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in culinary education or a related field is required for this full-time position.
