About the Role
Lucid Motors is seeking a Manager, Network Operations to lead network planning, expansion, and operational excellence for its retail network across the Middle East. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, requires 5-10 years of experience in automotive network development or related fields. The role is critical in ensuring optimal market coverage, supporting scalable network expansion, and upholding Lucid's standards across the region.
Network Strategy and Expansion
The Manager, Network Operations will be responsible for the planning and execution of Lucid’s Middle East network strategy, encompassing both Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and Partner-led (Importer) models. This includes conducting regional network studies, market demand analysis, and capacity planning to define optimal retail and service footprints. The role also oversees the partner selection process, including due diligence and capability assessment, and ensures all new retail and service sites meet regulatory, brand, and operational requirements prior to activation.
Performance Management and Standards Enforcement
This position involves establishing and leading governance frameworks for network rollout, market activation, and ongoing operations. The Manager will own the definition, implementation, and oversight of Lucid’s standards to ensure consistent compliance with brand, commercial, and customer experience expectations. Key operational KPIs across sales, aftersales, and customer experience will be defined, monitored, and reviewed, with corrective actions taken as needed. Coordination with cross-functional teams will ensure commercial programs are deployed and optimized across the network.
Cross-Functional Coordination and Partner Support
The role serves as the primary regional coordination point between HQ, regional teams, and external partners on network expansion and operational initiatives. This includes leading go-to-market (GTM) planning and execution for new markets and network expansions, ensuring end-to-end launch readiness. The Manager will also act as a coordination point during market launch and ramp-up phases, supporting issue resolution and operational stabilization. Guidance and support will be provided to partners to build compliant, efficient, and customer-centric sales and service operations aligned with Lucid’s model.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in automotive network development, network operations, retail operations, or related fields.
- Proven experience working with or within automotive dealership groups, distributors, or importer-led markets is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing or supporting multi-market network expansion and go-to-market activities, ideally across both direct and partner-led business models.
- Solid understanding of automotive retail and aftersales operations, including customer journey, service capacity, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional, international environment, preferably within the Middle East or similar growth markets.
Required Skills
- Deep understanding of dealer operations, aftersales, throughput, and customer experience standards within a premium automotive environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-market network rollouts, GTM launches, and cross-functional initiatives with tight timelines.
- Ability to influence and align internal stakeholders and external partners, including importer organizations and dealer groups.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to act as a central coordination point across HQ, regional teams, and partners.
- Structured, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage escalations and drive operational stability during market launches.
