About the Role

People Group Arabia is partnering with a leading developer to appoint a Masterplan Director. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves leading the planning and delivery of a major mixed-use destination development. The role requires a strategic leader to drive the masterplanning process from concept through to execution.

Role Responsibilities

As Masterplan Director, you will be responsible for driving the masterplanning process across multiple disciplines. This includes ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and design outcomes for the development.

• Lead the planning and delivery of a major mixed-use destination development.
• Drive the masterplanning process across hospitality, residential, retail, public realm, landscape, infrastructure, and development disciplines.
• Ensure alignment between commercial objectives and design outcomes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role must demonstrate extensive experience and a proven track record in masterplanning and large-scale development projects.

• 15+ years of experience in masterplanning, urban design, development, or related disciplines.
• Proven leadership experience gained within a major developer, master developer, or leading international consultancy.
• Experience in delivering large-scale mixed-use developments.
• Completion of at least one Golf Course Development project.
• Completion of at least one Luxury Hotel project.
• Strong stakeholder management and multidisciplinary coordination experience.
• GCC experience is essential, with a preference for candidates who have delivered projects in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Sharjah.
