About the Role

Business Umbrella is seeking a Materials Planning Coordinator to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves supporting the Materials Planning Manager by assisting with administrative tasks, inventory tracking, and coordination to ensure the timely and accurate supply of materials for production and operational needs. The coordinator will play a key role in maintaining efficient material planning operations to meet production goals.

Role Contribution

The Materials Planning Coordinator assists in the collection of necessary data from commercial, production, procurement, and inventory departments. This data is essential for the preparation of accurate materials forecasts, contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the materials planning manager in preparing material forecasts and schedules.
• Ensure accurate recording and updating of all relevant data regarding material requirements in planning systems.
• Help maintain an efficient flow of materials, ensuring alignment with production schedules.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and alert the team when stock reaches reorder points or safety levels.
• Track incoming and outgoing materials to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to verify stock levels and update inventory databases as needed.
• Input material demand forecasts and inventory levels into ERP or materials planning systems.
• Maintain organized records of all material planning activities.
• Assist in preparing reports on material requirements and inventory levels.
• Support the materials planning team in gathering and analyzing data for material demand forecasting.
• Monitor changes in production schedules or customer orders that may affect material requirements.
• Assist in adjusting material plans in response to changes in demand or production needs.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should have 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires an individual who can effectively assist in data entry, communicate with suppliers, and monitor stock levels to ensure a smooth flow of materials through the supply chain.
