About the Role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a MEA Networks for AI: DCN & RIS Sales Specialist. This is a full-time, hybrid role, requiring an average of two days per week in an HPE office. The position is designed for an advanced individual contributor with 5-10 years of experience in enterprise sales, specifically within networking or infrastructure.

Role Overview

The MEA Networks for AI: DCN & RIS Sales Specialist will support local sales teams across the Middle East and Africa region by providing specialized knowledge and expertise in Data Center Networking (DCN) and Routing and Switching (RIS) solutions. This role involves close collaboration with technical resources to drive business outcomes and position HPE's differentiated solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of sales pipelines for DCN and RIS opportunities.
  • Engage customers in consultative discussions with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Shape and influence solution architectures, including proofs of concept and design strategies.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from qualification through to closure.
  • Collaborate with account teams, sales engineers, and partners to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strategic account plans aligned with growth objectives.
  • Ensure accuracy in forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Support partner enablement and contribute to joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Position AI-ready networking solutions that align with customer modernization goals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Typically 8–12+ years of enterprise sales experience in networking or infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of selling complex data center networking or routing solutions.
  • Experience managing large, strategic enterprise account sales campaigns.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders in complex organizations.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC and/or Strategic Selling approaches and frameworks.
  • Experienced presenter and public speaker.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of data center networking architectures and routing technologies.
  • Knowledge of AI infrastructure connectivity and modern data center environments.
  • Strong consultative selling and business case development capabilities.
  • Advanced account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills across technical, sales, and partner organizations.
  • Competitive positioning and market awareness within the networking industry.
  • Excellent communication and executive engagement capabilities.
