Zahid Tractor is seeking a Mechanic-I to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is responsible for performing essential maintenance and repair tasks for machinery and equipment, both in the workshop and in the field. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Summary

The Mechanic-I carries out preventive maintenance (PM), basic troubleshooting, and repairs on various machines and equipment. This role is critical for ensuring the operational readiness and reliability of equipment, adhering to high-quality standards, and supporting field operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect machines and equipment to assess their general condition.
• Perform PM services and repairs in accordance with the highest quality standards.
• Conduct TA1 inspections and prepare reports for supervisor review, as required.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including time sheets and service reports.
• Document and report any defects, damage, misuse, abuse, or lack of maintenance observed on inspected equipment.
• Work overtime when operational demands require it.
• Be prepared to work at various locations throughout the Kingdom as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices for tools, workshop equipment, and work bays.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical repair and maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Proficiency in conducting PM services.
• Ability to complete required documentation accurately.

Internal and External Interactions

This role involves regular interaction with internal teams and external customers to ensure efficient service delivery and problem resolution.

• Internal Contacts: Service Admins for job time posting and reports; Supervisors for job scheduling, technical advice, and assistance.
• External Contacts: Customers for validating machine fault locations and scheduling.

Reporting Structure

The Mechanic-I reports directly to the Rental Supervisor.
