MECHANICAL ENGINEER

About the Role

Duncan & Ross is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading all mechanical engineering activities related to the restoration of facility buildings and hangars. The successful candidate will ensure that critical mechanical systems are restored, tested, and commissioned according to approved designs, applicable codes, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the restoration of HVAC, compressed air, generator mechanical systems, and door mechanisms. This includes a range of tasks from initial assessment to final commissioning and documentation.

Specific Duties

• Conduct site condition assessments for HVAC, compressed air, and other mechanical systems.
• Coordinate equipment lead times and delivery schedules with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Develop mechanical technical input for scopes of work, tender documents, and bills of quantities.
• Perform technical evaluations of bidder and contractor proposals.
• Review and approve manufacturer submittals, shop drawings, and equipment selections.
• Supervise installation, testing, adjusting and balancing, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality, and compliance with the approved scope and schedule.
• Verify and approve as-built drawings, test reports, and operation and maintenance manuals.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on on-site activities related to facility and hangar restoration projects.
