About the Role

NewBridge Pharmaceuticals is building a science-driven Medical Affairs organization across the MENA region. As part of this strategic growth, we are seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to lead scientific engagement within our Hepatology portfolio in Saudi Arabia. This is a field-based, non-promotional role focused on scientific exchange, building relationships with key stakeholders, and gathering medical insights to inform strategy and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Medical Experts (KMEs) and relevant stakeholders in the therapeutic area.
  • Conduct scientific discussions regarding disease states, clinical data, and treatment paradigms.
  • Deliver educational presentations and support scientific exchange platforms, including advisory boards, symposia, and congresses.
  • Provide balanced, accurate, and timely medical information to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and internal teams.
  • Capture and communicate field insights to inform medical and cross-functional strategies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the therapeutic area within the organization.
  • Support evidence generation activities, including Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS), publications, and research collaborations.
  • Contribute to the execution of the medical strategy and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and review of scientific materials.
  • Ensure all activities comply with local regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Uphold scientific integrity and patient-centricity in all activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences.
  • 0 to 1 year of experience in Medical Affairs, preferably in a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Medical Advisor role.
  • Prior experience in hepatology or a closely related therapeutic area is highly preferred.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to engage and influence scientific stakeholders.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time, field-based position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
