About the Role

Nexttec Technology Outsourcing is seeking an ERP Functional Consultant – Finance (Fixed Assets) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience. The consultant will provide expert guidance and support to clients in the implementation, customization, and maintenance of their ERP systems, with a specific focus on the Fixed Assets module.

Role Overview

The ERP Functional Consultant – Finance (Fixed Assets) is responsible for the implementation, configuration, support, and optimization of the Fixed Assets module within ERP systems. This role involves close collaboration with finance stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design effective solutions, enhance financial processes, and ensure adherence to accounting standards and organizational policies. Strong expertise in fixed asset accounting, asset lifecycle management, depreciation methodologies, financial reporting, and ERP finance modules is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and deliver ERP solutions for Fixed Assets processes.
• Configure and support Fixed Assets functionality, including asset capitalization, depreciation methods and books, asset transfers, asset retirement and disposal, and asset revaluation and adjustments.
• Ensure seamless integration between Fixed Assets and other modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Procurement, Inventory, and Project Accounting.
• Support ERP implementation projects, upgrades, testing, and go-live activities.
• Conduct user training sessions and provide post-implementation support.
• Develop functional specifications, test scripts, process documentation, and user manuals.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities and audit requirements.
• Translate business requirements into ERP functional specifications and solution designs.
• Perform system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, and deployment activities.

Required Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in ERP functional consulting, specifically with Fixed Assets modules.
• Demonstrated expertise in fixed asset accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with asset lifecycle management, depreciation methodologies, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP finance modules and their integration points.
