About the Role

Sulzer is seeking an experienced MRP Controller and Planning Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to ensuring the smooth flow of orders from planning through to delivery, contributing to the company's commitment to innovation and sustainable solutions.

Role Overview

The MRP Controller and Planning Engineer is responsible for end-to-end production and material planning. This involves effective execution of the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, diligent inventory control, and close coordination with various departments to guarantee efficient order processing and timely fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve a minimum of 92% On-Time Delivery and 100% Sales Order Compliance.
• Execute MRP planning, ensuring accurate and timely release of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and requisitions.
• Plan, schedule, and close planned and production orders in alignment with forecasts and customer delivery dates.
• Manage routings and production order closures to meet operational targets.
• Monitor end-to-end order timelines, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), production, and delivery, and resolve any delays.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, and Logistics departments for seamless operational execution.
• Optimize inventory levels and material flow to support production needs, backlog clearance, and On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance.
• Drive improvements in digital planning processes and contribute to Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reduction initiatives through process optimization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-8 years of experience in MRP and end-to-end planning execution.
• Proficiency in SAP PP and MM, MS Excel, and understanding of RFC and compliance requirements.
• Experience in Production Planning & Control.
• Experience in Inventory Management & Optimization.
