About the Role

National Medical Care is seeking a specialized Neuro Lab Technician to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves performing a range of diagnostic neurological procedures under the supervision of the Physiological Testing Supervisor. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical care and compassionate treatment for all patients.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Execute all required neurodiagnostic procedures within the Physiological Testing Department, strictly adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform Electroencephalogram (EEG) studies as requested by attending physicians, including Nerve Conduction Studies, Electromyography (EMG), Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR), and Evoked Potentials.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the work area and all associated equipment.
  • Accurately record data, document findings, and save reports and EEG tracings.
  • Conduct all work in a professional manner, ensuring patient and staff confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Adhere to all applicable departmental policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in departmental continuing education programs, including those covering departmental policies and procedures, fire safety, risk management, and environmental control.
  • Comply with the hospital's approved dress code policy.
  • Perform other applicable tasks and duties as assigned, within the scope of the employee's knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or Associate's Diploma as a minimum, or a University Diploma in a healthcare-related field from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a recognized training program for Registered EEG Technicians.
  • A valid specialized license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
  • A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1-3 years of practical experience post-qualification in a relevant role.

Required Skills

  • High professionalism and excellent communication skills with others.
  • Ability to demonstrate friendliness, flexibility, patience, and tact in interactions.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Arabic language communication skills are preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills essential for effective collaboration and patient care.
  • Knowledge of computer applications relevant to the role.

Additional Details

This is a full-time position requiring 1-3 years of practical experience post-qualification. The work location is Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
