About the Role

Qureos is seeking an experienced Palm Tree Supervisor - Agriculture to manage daily date palm farming operations in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing tree health, irrigation, maintenance, and harvesting activities, requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily date palm farm operations and activities.
• Monitor palm tree health, growth, and overall plantation condition.
• Manage irrigation, fertilization, pruning, pollination, and harvesting activities.
• Oversee pest and disease control programs.
• Monitor soil conditions and coordinate irrigation and fertigation requirements.
• Supervise farm workers and assign daily tasks.
• Ensure proper pruning, cleaning, thinning, and maintenance of palm trees.
• Monitor fruit development and quality throughout the season.
• Maintain records of farm activities, production, fertilizers, irrigation, and treatments.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of agricultural tools and equipment.
• Follow agricultural, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with farm management to achieve production and quality targets.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in date palm farming or agricultural operations.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of date palm cultivation and plantation management.
• Experience in irrigation, fertilization, pruning, pollination, and pest and disease control.
• Experience supervising farm workers and daily agricultural activities.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of date palm varieties, seasonal activities, and harvesting.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Saudi/GCC agricultural experience is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on hands-on supervision within date palm farming operations.
