Pharmacy District Manager

About the Role

Al Farabi Medical Group is seeking a Pharmacy District Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of pharmacies within an assigned geographical area in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supervising branch managers and pharmacy teams, monitoring key operational metrics, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

Role Overview

The Pharmacy District Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining consistent performance and service quality across all assigned branches. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field, focusing on strategic oversight and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational and administrative activities for all pharmacies in the assigned area.
• Supervise, guide, and evaluate branch managers to ensure operational efficiency and achievement of business targets.
• Develop and implement action plans to increase sales, improve profitability, and achieve revenue objectives.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize shortages, waste, and expired stock.
• Oversee procurement activities, supplier relationships, and purchasing efficiency.
• Monitor operational expenses and identify opportunities to optimize costs and resources.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulations, and other applicable requirements.
• Monitor customer service quality, address complaints, and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Conduct regular field visits to evaluate branch performance and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Support recruitment, staff development, performance evaluation, and training initiatives.
• Prepare periodic reports for senior management covering branch performance, sales, inventory, and operational challenges.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth operations and alignment with company objectives.

• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, sales, inventory, and procurement.
• Knowledge of SFDA regulations and other relevant industry standards.
• Proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
