Job Overview

Skilled Careers is partnering with a leading General Contractor in Saudi Arabia to recruit an experienced Planner. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is critical for the successful delivery of major hyperscale data centre projects across the Kingdom. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling.

Project Scope

The Planner will join a high-performing team dedicated to executing some of the region's most complex and technically demanding construction projects. The initial focus will be on a significant data centre project located in Riyadh, contributing to the broader development of hyperscale infrastructure within Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline schedules, recovery programmes, and look-ahead plans to ensure project timelines are met.
• Monitor project progress diligently and identify potential programme risks and delays.
• Carry out critical path analysis and recommend effective mitigation measures to address identified issues.
• Produce comprehensive weekly and monthly progress reports for senior management and the client.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all project milestones are achieved.
• Support planning activities throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Planner with a main contractor, demonstrating 5-10 years of professional experience in the field.
• Previous data centre project experience is essential for this role.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management.
• Experience delivering large-scale construction projects effectively.
• Excellent planning, analytical, and communication skills are required.

Location and Employment

This is a full-time employment opportunity. The successful candidate must be willing to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the duration of the projects.
