About the Role

Atrium Project Management - APM, a part of Talaat Moustafa Group TMG, is seeking a Planning & Project Controls Engineer (PCS) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for managing and overseeing project schedules and controls across various project phases, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the master project schedule, encompassing all milestone activities from pre-design, design, tender and award, through construction and completion.
  • Develop detailed schedules including design schedules, pre-bid schedules, shop drawing and submittal schedules, separate contract schedules, and occupancy schedules.
  • Prepare, submit, and distribute comprehensive monthly narrative, cost, schedule, and financial reports.
  • Support and prepare for the development of CPM schedules and precedence diagrams for design, as well as for separate design and construction contract packages.
  • Review contractor's schedules and updates, providing critical insights to Managers and Superintendents regarding key activities in design and construction schedules.
  • Assist Design, Construction Managers, and Superintendents with activity sequencing and resource allocation.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of tenders to ensure that separate contractor schedules and any associated qualifications align with overall project time requirements.
  • Offer recommendations when actual project progress deviates from the planned schedule, facilitating re-scheduling or acceleration to achieve on-time completion.
  • Conduct analyses of alternatives and options in project programming to assess "what if" scenarios, particularly concerning market fluctuations, implementation of changes, or unanticipated events impacting the design and construction schedule.
  • Participate in coordination meetings as required.
  • Perform other assigned tasks within the limits of job duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A background in Construction Project Management (PMC).
  • 0-1 years of experience in the project controls and planning field.
