About the Role

Takamol Holding is seeking a Portfolio Director to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to managing and leading all aspects of assigned project operations, ensuring alignment with company standards and successful delivery.

Role Overview

The Portfolio Director is responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial mobilization to ongoing monitoring. This includes leading the development of critical project documentation such as the initiation document, defining project scope and deliverables, and establishing comprehensive project and resource plans to ensure projects are launched effectively and progress is tracked diligently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate project mobilization activities, including leading the development of project initiation documents, scope, deliverables, and project and resource plans to successfully launch projects and facilitate progress monitoring.
  • Identify potential risk areas and immediate or structural obstacles that may impede successful project implementation, taking corrective actions or escalating issues as required to minimize risk.
  • Manage and review the design and implementation of formal project controls and other quality assurance activities to ensure adherence to company standards, risk minimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in identifying key lessons from past and ongoing projects, translating these insights into improvement recommendations to inform the development of business cases and plans, thereby ensuring project integrity and strategic direction.
  • Cooperate closely with stakeholders and project sponsors, managing the development of communication plans to ensure effective information sharing and facilitated stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this Portfolio Director position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in project or portfolio management. A demonstrated ability to manage complex project operations and ensure timely, on-budget delivery is required.
