About the Procurement Management Role

A confidential government entity in Riyadh is seeking a Procurement professional to manage its procurement activities. This full-time position involves overseeing the entire procurement cycle, from initial requisition to final contract execution, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of necessary materials and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute procurement processes, including issuing Requests for Quotations (RFQs), evaluating bids, and generating purchase orders.
  • Identify, assess, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and ensure quality standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their requirements and facilitate timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, reports, and documentation.
  • Support initiatives aimed at cost savings and continuous improvement within procurement operations.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Between 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of procurement best practices and contract principles.
