Procurement Specialist Power Generation

About the Role

RAWAJ is seeking a Procurement Specialist - Power Generation to join a leading Power Generation and Engineering Solutions company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing local and international procurement activities for electrical and mechanical equipment, materials, and spare parts, from sourcing and supplier evaluation through to delivery and order closure.

Role Overview

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring efficient acquisition of necessary components for power generation solutions. The role requires coordination with various internal teams including engineering, sales, finance, warehouse, and project teams, and involves managing complex logistics and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage local and international procurement activities for electrical and mechanical equipment, materials, and spare parts.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Obtain quotations, prepare commercial comparisons, and coordinate technical evaluations.
• Prepare and follow up on purchase orders, supplier deliveries, and open orders.
• Coordinate shipping, importation, customs clearance, and SABER requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Warehouse, and Project teams.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and procurement costs.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ERP data.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience in the Saudi market.
• Experience in purchasing electrical/mechanical equipment or materials for projects.
• Strong experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, quotation comparison, and purchase orders.
• Knowledge of shipping, importation, Incoterms, and SABER is preferred.
• Experience in Power Generation, Generators, Electrical Panels, MEP, EPC, Construction, or Industrial Equipment is highly preferred.
• Experience with ERP/Odoo, Excel, and Outlook.
