About the Role

Reef Group is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on supporting the sourcing and procurement of cosmetics and fragrance products and their components. The ideal candidate will be proactive and detail-oriented, playing a key part in managing external supplier relationships and ensuring product standards.

Role Purpose and Context

The Procurement Specialist is instrumental in maintaining the company’s quality, cost, and delivery standards for materials and products. This position requires close coordination with product development, operations, and quality teams to facilitate smooth procurement processes across cosmetics and fragrance categories, with an emphasis on optimal cost efficiency and robust supplier performance.

Supplier Sourcing and Relationship Management

• Identify and evaluate manufacturers and suppliers for cosmetics, fragrances, and related components.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with external factories and vendors.
• Coordinate communication with international suppliers regarding product specifications, pricing, and production timelines.
• Source and evaluate raw materials used in cosmetics and fragrance products, including ingredients, fragrance oils, and formulations.
• Source and evaluate packaging components such as bottles, caps, pumps, applicators, and cosmetic containers.
• Ensure selected materials and components meet established quality, functionality, and brand standards.

Procurement Operations and Quality Assurance

• Request quotations, negotiate pricing, and review supplier proposals.
• Select suppliers based on criteria including quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement continuous cost optimization strategies while upholding product quality and brand standards.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, reliability, and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any production or quality issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to all procurement activities and supplier agreements.
