About the Production Manager Role
DELHAM is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimize chocolate manufacturing operations in Riyadh Region. This full-time role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in the food industry, specifically in chocolate production, to ensure efficient and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities in Chocolate Production
The Production Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of daily chocolate production. This includes developing and implementing production plans aligned with business objectives and customer demand. A primary focus will be on enhancing production efficiency, increasing productivity, and controlling costs while actively minimizing waste. The role also involves leading, training, and developing production teams to foster operational excellence.
- Ensuring strict adherence to food safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including HACCP, GMP, and ISO.
- Monitoring production performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating effectively with Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments.
- Preparing and analyzing operational and production reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensuring the optimal utilization of production resources, equipment, and manpower.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, or a closely related field. The role demands a minimum of 7–10 years of experience in food manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity. Crucially, hands-on experience in chocolate manufacturing is mandatory for this position.
Essential Skills and Competencies
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership and people management capabilities, coupled with strategic planning and operational management skills. The ability to effectively solve problems and make sound decisions is essential. A solid understanding of food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000 is required. Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization, along with strong analytical and reporting skills, will be critical for success in this role.
Preferred Expertise
While not strictly required, experience in specific chocolate processing areas such as tempering, moulding, enrobing, filling, and packaging operations is highly preferred and will be considered an advantage.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, within the Riyadh Region. The role offers the opportunity to manage significant production operations within the chocolate manufacturing sector.
