About the Role of Production Supervisor

MBC Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee scripted productions across their entire lifecycle. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and involves managing projects from development and pre-production through filming, post-production, and final delivery. The Production Supervisor ensures that all production objectives are met efficiently and to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor production schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery within approved budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, production companies, creative teams, and operational departments to achieve production objectives.
  • Review scripts and production plans to identify requirements, operational considerations, and potential risks.
  • Oversee production processes and workflows, ensuring adherence to company standards, policies, and technical requirements.
  • Track production performance, provide regular status updates and reports, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support casting activities, talent engagement, contract coordination, and production logistics.
  • Manage relationships with production partners and external stakeholders for effective collaboration.
  • Review production outputs, including dailies, rough cuts, and offline edits, to maintain quality standards.
  • Identify potential production risks and implement mitigation plans to minimize impact on delivery schedules and budgets.
  • Resolve production, operational, and logistical issues efficiently while maintaining project continuity.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet creative, technical, legal, and business requirements before final handover.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Over 10 years of proven experience managing multiple productions simultaneously from development through delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the complete production lifecycle, including development, pre-production, production, post-production, and content delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, scheduling, and production planning.
  • Strong knowledge of production operations, workflows, technical requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Experience managing talent, agents, cast contracts, and production companies is preferred.
  • Proficiency in production management systems, budgeting tools, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office applications.
