Role Overview

MBC Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing scripted productions from development through final delivery, ensuring projects adhere to schedules and budgets. The Production Supervisor will coordinate with various stakeholders and manage production processes to maintain quality standards and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise scripted productions across the entire lifecycle, including development, pre-production, filming, post-production, and final delivery.
  • Monitor production schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery within approved budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, production companies, creative teams, and operational departments to achieve production objectives.
  • Review scripts and production plans to identify requirements, operational considerations, and potential risks.
  • Oversee production processes and workflows, ensuring adherence to company standards, policies, and technical requirements.
  • Track production performance, provide regular status updates, reports, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support casting activities, talent engagement, contract coordination, and production logistics.
  • Manage relationships with production partners and external stakeholders for effective collaboration.
  • Review production outputs, including dailies, rough cuts, and offline edits, to ensure quality standards.
  • Identify potential production risks and implement mitigation plans to minimize impact on delivery and budgets.
  • Resolve production, operational, and logistical issues efficiently while maintaining project continuity.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet creative, technical, legal, and business requirements before final handover.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in television, film, scripted content, or media production.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within production environments.
  • Proven experience managing multiple productions simultaneously from development through delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the complete production lifecycle, including development, pre-production, production, post-production, and content delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, scheduling, and production planning.
  • Strong knowledge of production operations, workflows, technical requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in production management systems, budgeting tools, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires collaboration with diverse internal and external teams within a dynamic media production environment.
