The Role of Project Director

The Project Director will hold overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of major towers projects in Riyadh and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires strong leadership, effective stakeholder management, and commercial acumen to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires over 10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold overall responsibility for successful delivery of towers projects in the Riyadh region, safeguarding time, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact with clients, consultants, government authorities, and other stakeholders in the Riyadh region.
• Lead and direct the entire site organization, including construction, engineering, safety, quality, procurement, planning, logistics, and administrative functions.
• Liaise with local Riyadh authorities (municipality, Civil Defense, security agencies) and relevant project stakeholders to secure permits and approvals required for projects.
• Chair project progress meetings, review critical path activities, and drive corrective actions for schedule or cost deviations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, Saudi labor law, and applicable local regulations.
• Manage project risk, resolve disputes, and make key strategic decisions at the site level.
• Oversee resource planning and mobilization of site personnel, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Report project status, risks, and forecasts to executive management on a regular basis.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant construction experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale tower/high-rise projects or Mega Projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi construction regulations, permitting processes, and labor laws.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong commercial, contractual, and risk management capabilities.

Work Location

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with project oversight extending to Makkah. The role is full-time.
